CHALLENGE
Communicate the benefits of the European Union’s investments in Lithuania over the past 20 years in sectors such as energy, transport, social services, healthcare, and other areas important to the country. Using a variety of content distribution channels, educate Lithuanian residents about the progress achieved during 20 years of EU membership. By creating the campaign slogan “20 Years Stronger”, we aimed to reach a broad audience, convey important information effectively and uniquely, and foster a sense of pride.
ACTIONS
For the most effective campaign execution, we integrated multiple communication channels: social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn), media articles (Delfi.lt), influencers, and video clips published on YouTube and broadcast on LRT. For Facebook and Instagram, we created an engaging series of posts that conveyed the campaign message and focused on educating the public. Carefully selected influencers organically filled the gaps between articles and other content distribution. We also ran ongoing advertising to further amplify the campaign message.
RESULTS
By implementing the campaign’s publicity plan, the achieved results exceeded the target KPI of 2.5 million people reached by three times. Communication on Facebook and Instagram reached 2 million users, while videos on LRT and YouTube gathered over 4 million views. Articles published on Delfi.lt were read tens of thousands of times, confirming that the chosen topics were relevant to the target audience. Influencer engagement further reinforced the campaign message and helped the audience better understand the importance of EU investments for Lithuania’s progress.
